The Manage Pane

The Manage pane is divided into two basic parts. In the left part there is a hierarchical tree of TrustPort Management groups. By default, two basic groups are created during installation ie. the Root group and the Unclassified group. All new stations, that are registered into the TrustPort Management, are automatically placed into the Unclassified group. Under the hierarchical tree of groups there are placed four buttons.

• Add - This button creates a new group. Enter the name and description for this new group in the form fields provided. The new group will be created under the currently selected group. It is necessary to give the new group a name, but entering a description of the group is optional. It is not permitted to create a new group under the Unclassified group group, as this group is reserved for special purposes.
• Delete - This button removes the selected group. User's confirmation is required before the own deletion is executed. In TrustPort Management it is possible to delete any group or station except the default ones.
• Expand All - This button will display the complete hierarchical tree of groups. The hierarchical tree can be extensive enough, so this tree is automatically shown collapsed. This button helps to expand all groups in the tree at once to avoid manually expanding of the tree per group.
• Collapse All - This button will hide all expanded groups so that only the direct content of the Root group remains visible.

It's possible to grab single groups with mouse and change their placing in the heirarchical tree. If the grabbed group can be moved to another one than there is appeared a small green icon next to the mouse cursor that symbolizes success. In the other case, when it isn't possible to move it into the new placement, a small red icon is appeared next to the mouse cursor that symbolize failure.

The right part of the pane is divided into two another parts. In the upper part there is placed a control that display current position in the groups and stations. The bottom part displays individual tabs for selected group or station.

When we are walking in the hierarchical tree, the control in the upper part of pane shows current depth of selected group. You can see all superiors groups to the selected one. If you choose some station then this control shows current depth of this station in groups too. Clicking on each of the superiors groups switches into its settings. Groups and stations differ with icons, so you can very easy orient yourself even if the structure of groups and stations in the TrustPort Management is more complicated.

Bottom part of this pane part contains tabs with their content. Count, names and content of particular tabs is different for group and station. After selecting of some group in the hierarchical tree of groups, this group is displayed in this part of pane and the first tab is automatically selected. After selecting of station in the list of station and its displaying in the upper control, station tabs are automatically displayed. There is a special tab Tasks, in the right part of tabs, that is displayed always. Of course, its content is different for a group and station.
