The General Tab of Station in the Management Pane
This tab displays general information about the station and list of all managed applications on this station. These data are provided by the station and they are transmitted to the TrustPort Management server during station's login and during synchronization between the station and the server. Some of these items are managed only by the administrator of TrustPort Management and are stored only on the server.
There is following information on this tab:
- Name ... Station name, which is displayed in the TrustPort Management console. This item is possible to change on the Properties tab.
- Description ... Shows a description about the selected station e.g. John Doe - transferable computer. This item is possible to change on the Properties tab. Information isn't supply from the station but it's filled in with the administrator of the TrustPort Management.
- Location ... Displays more detailed station description about the location of the station e.g. office B205, 2nd floor. This item is possible to change on the Properties tab. Information isn't supply from the station but it's filled in with the administrator of the TrustPort Management.
- Domain\PC name ... The given value is made up of the domain name or the work group, divided with the sign '\' from the name of the given station.
- IP address and network mask ... Station IP address and its network mask. Station can contain more network cards ie. more network IP addresses. In so case there is shown only the first IP address (the basic one).
- Act as a superagent ... This option displays if the selected station will provide updates of virus definitions for the surrounding computers or not. This item is possible to change on the Properties tab.
- Last synchronization ... Date and time of the last synchronization of the selected station with the TrustPort Management server. This value is regularly updated.
- Last login ... Date and time of the last login of the selected station on the TrustPort Management server. This value is regularly updated. If the station has not logged in to the TrustPort Management server for at least 5 days, then this value is marked with a red colour.
- Registration date ... Date and time when the station was registered on the TrustPort Management server.
- Operating system ... Operating system of the given station.
List of all the installed applications on the given station is represented on this page. For each application there is its name and version. Clicking on the entry row displays more detail information about the application (an installation directory, date and time of the product installation).
